This post is brought to you by Miss Me, however opinions are my own.
Well, it’s official: fall is here! And besides pumpkin spice everything & boots, there’s one other thing that makes fall exciting: getting cozy. A few days ago, it was freeeezing outside. I later found out that it was technically 59º out but whatever, it was still too cold for me to brave the outdoors, so I decided to work snuggled into my bed underneath a fluffy down comforter and a quilt. It was in that moment that I decided I love this crisp, fall air.
Fall is the perfect in between season where you get to dress cozy without having to bundle up for your life. That means sweater weather is here and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. Since it usually gets warmer throughout the day and then colder again as the sun sets, the key to comfort is layers. For that reason, I always bring a sweater or cardigan with me wherever I go.

I wore this look to run errands and then later to the vet. My poor Adri has an ear infection 🙁 Let’s hope it’s nothing worse beyond that! Anyway, by the time I was leaving for the vet, it was already 5:30 and with Atlanta traffic, I knew I wouldn’t get to the vet until around 7, so I stuffed my sweater into my bag and ran out the door. I love this sweater because the color is something that can go with almost anything, so I definitely see myself wearing it a lot this season. It also has a thick, wide stitching (is that what it’s called?), so it doesn’t make me too hot with a few layers on.
Oh, and something cool about this bag: it is also a backpack. You can change the straps to convert it. How cool is that?! I finished off the look with a hint of print in these amazing leopard flats. Leopard is totally a neutral, right? Love!

Such a beautiful outfit. And a huge yes to knitwear and all things cosy – I think this is definitely one of the reasons I love autumn and colder seasons. x

Love that sweater, the detailing is perfect! And absolutely, definitely yes to getting cozy in the fall, one of my favorite parts of the season is big chunky sweaters and warm cozy scarves. I love snuggling up and going out for a walk or just to stay in and read a book or watch a movie. The best!

Do I like getting cozy for fall? That’s like asking if I like puppies and cookies.
Obviously, YES! It’s the absolute best feeling, snuggling up in oversized everything with cups of hot drinks and sweet n’ spicy scented candles everywhere.

This outfit is beyond perfect! I love those flats – I bought a similar pair on a whim, and was shocked with how many things they went with. They’re one of my favorite pairs now! Great style. 🙂

Thank you! I had the same experience! I was a little worried the print wouldn’t go with everything, but I was wrong! It is awesome!

My cozy fall take: A grown-up take on the schoolgirl standard with a billowy blouse under a sleeveless dress, pinafore-style. A dramatic coat and a bold necklace keep the look far from uniform.
