Well, it’s official: fall is here! And besides pumpkin spice everything & boots, there’s one other thing that makes fall exciting: getting cozy. A few days ago, it was freeeezing outside. I later found out that it was technically 59º out but whatever, it was still too cold for me to brave the outdoors, so I decided to work snuggled into my bed underneath a fluffy down comforter and a quilt. It was in that moment that I decided I love this crisp, fall air.

Fall is the perfect in between season where you get to dress cozy without having to bundle up for your life. That means sweater weather is here and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. Since it usually gets warmer throughout the day and then colder again as the sun sets, the key to comfort is layers. For that reason, I always bring a sweater or cardigan with me wherever I go.

I wore this look to run errands and then later to the vet. My poor Adri has an ear infection 🙁 Let’s hope it’s nothing worse beyond that! Anyway, by the time I was leaving for the vet, it was already 5:30 and with Atlanta traffic, I knew I wouldn’t get to the vet until around 7, so I stuffed my sweater into my bag and ran out the door. I love this sweater because the color is something that can go with almost anything, so I definitely see myself wearing it a lot this season. It also has a thick, wide stitching (is that what it’s called?), so it doesn’t make me too hot with a few layers on.

Oh, and something cool about this bag: it is also a backpack. You can change the straps to convert it. How cool is that?! I finished off the look with a hint of print in these amazing leopard flats. Leopard is totally a neutral, right? Love!
