One of my favorite things to do in other countries (and I guess in general too) is to go shopping. When we went to Mexico City, we quickly discovered that the best place to shop was in Polanco, one of the many neighborhoods in Mexico City and definitely our favorite. The gorgeous area is home to several shops, restaurants, and we’re guessing some telanovela stars too. There’s a lot to do, yet it’s very quiet and peaceful during the day. Lauren, Alex and I loved just walking around to explore.
On one of our shopping days, I wore my new gingham jumpsuit. Before we left for the trip, we all decided to bring and wear gingham. Well, it looks like I’m the only one that remembered! But that’s ok because I seriously love this jumpsuit and I never would have picked it out if it weren’t for the gingham conversation.
I think it might be slightly too big, but it is extremely comfortable, and paired with heels elevates the look while still keeping it pretty casual. I love the pockets (no need for a purse – yay!) and I wore it layered with a white tee to protect my shoulders, which got burned so quick down in Mexico! I was loving the retro vibes this silhouette paired with the gold round sunnies gave off. I kind of felt like an 80s Narcos wife. Can’t say it wasn’t fun!
