The Grass is Greener in Kauai

Seriously. It literally is. All of the colors–the grass, the ocean, the flowers–are all brighter and more vibrant. Not to mention that everything is just better there in general. I got back to Atlanta yesterday and I am so much sadder than I thought I’d be. It’s really hard to figure out why exactly I left. Kauai is the closest thing to paradise I have ever experienced and I can’t wait to go back.
The island truly is magical and I felt that when I was there. The relaxed and carefree nature of the island is exceptionally beautiful. Everyone I met on Kauai was full of kindness and generosity. Whether they claimed to actually see an aura of love beaming out of other people or things, or they were just joyfully doing their job of serving delicious coffee, the sheer beauty that radiated from each and every person was undeniable.
I felt particularly beautiful in this stunning lace dress from Free People. It perfectly encapsulates the fresh femininity of Kauai. Everything is so laid back, but in a very clean and loving way. There is so much respect and care for the lush plants and friendly animals that fill the garden island, which is totally what I’m all about. Can I go back now?
Where is your paradise?

Stunning! That dress looks fantastic on you. I’m jealous of the nice weather you seem to have there! I’m stuck in Wisconsin with feet of snow, so I can’t wait to see grass no matter how green it is!

Thank you! I loved this dress so much and can’t wait to wear it again. That kind of cold and snow just sounds horrible to me! I hope you get some spring weather here soon!
