Now that is is officially fall, we can all bust out the boots and oversized knits and wear them to Starbucks to order that irresistible Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yummmm…

Depending on where you live though, it might have felt like fall for a while (or it might not at all–I’m talking to you, Florida). Personally, I love fall. I remember exactly two years ago I was visiting my best friend Meghann on October first. The weather was so incredibly beautiful that day; it was the day I decided that fall is my favorite season. We went to the store and bought pumpkin and vanilla candles, a cinnamon broom, and a butternut squash to make soup. It was the perfect day with the perfect friend and every time I think of fall, I remember that day.

Last year on October first, I had just moved to Atlanta and got to see fall foliage for the first time. The vibrant reds, oranges and yellows could only compare to the Florida sunsets I was used to. But this was somehow much more beautiful than I expected. Perhaps because it was something new, or maybe because I always assumed the photos I had seen in the past were photoshopped to be more saturated. But the fact is, fall foliage is the epitome of natural beauty, and that coupled with the perfectly crisp weather makes for a very enjoyable season.

Stay tuned for the other best thing about fall: the fashion!

Do you enjoy this cooler season? What is your favorite fall memory?
