Boucle has taken over my life, y’all. I just can’t get enough. If I didn’t live with a man, my entire home would be made out of boucle. White boucle to be more specific (of course).
Boucle is a fabric made out of yarn that has a looped appearance. It was popular in the 60s and 70s so obviously that instantly draws me in. My whole home is very midcentury modern inspired, but instead of those Don Draper dark wood tones, I opt for lighter shades with MCM influence. Boucle falls perfectly into my narrow design preferences and I couldn’t be more in love.
Since the fabric is so unique, I am trying to use it only in accent pieces instead of going overboard. I originally have been dreaming of getting white boucle dining chairs, but the perfect ones just haven’t revealed themselves yet. So in the meantime I ordered a instead. Sadly, it is backordered, but my thought is that it will satisfy my boucle dreams so I can go with a more practical option for the dining room.
But if I could have it my way, I’d buy it all. Here are some of my dreamy boucle favorites:

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen bouclé used for home decor – only for clothing. I’m fascinated! I really like the different ottomans the most. You picked some really unique pieces.

I don’t think I’ve ever used boucle products. These pieces are super unique and absolutely stunning!

I’ve never used boucle products before but that looks quite beautiful. It’s been a while since I decorated my house, maybe I should add some new pieces.

I’m having the best time designing each room!! I truly can’t get enough of the boucle pieces. They’re all so beautiful and cozy-looking!

You totally should! I can’t WAIT for my desk chair to come in. It just looks sooo cozy!
