I never thought I’d be this into anything home decor related, much less a…print? material? Well, according to Wikipedia, terrazzo is “a composite material, poured in place or precast, which is used for floor and wall treatments. It consists of chips of marble, quartz, granite, glass, or other suitable material, poured with a cementitious binder (for chemical binding), polymeric (for physical binding), or a combination of both.” So I guess the print is just inspired by the material. But anyway, if I’m being totally honest, when I first saw this terrazzo trend, I was not a fan. I thought it looked tacky and a little too busy. But I just hadn’t discovered terrazzo done right.
And then I saw this gorgeous and my jaw dropped. This is what all those prints are trying to emulate. I completely fell in love and now I can’t get enough terrazzo. So when it came time to get the decor for my guest bathroom and I came across these , I knew I had to have them. I feel like they bring a little piece of my living room into the guest room for a cohesive look. And while there is definitely a wrong way to do terrazzo, these accessories prove that it doesn’t have to be expensive to be done well.
So besides the terrazzo items I own, I wanted to share more that I found online. Of course, I can’t have a fully terrazzo house, but if I could, here’s what I’d buy!
Are you feelin the terrazzo home decor trend?

Growing up in Miami everyone had Terrazzo on their floors. I hated it. Today I would love to have it but it is too expensive. Live and Learn.
