There’s nothing in this world that makes me happier than being with my family. I am so happy that we (almost) all got to celebrate together this year. We’ve had a rough year and being together just helps so much. I’ve decided to stay here in Alabama with the fam for as long as I can. I feel very fortunate that I have a job that allows me to work from almost anywhere, so I’m taking advantage of that this holiday season!

In my lightly-packed bag, I’ve brought only my favorite fall/winter pieces to last me however long I’m here. The first thing I knew I had to bring was my leopard loafers. These shoes are just so versatile and comfy, that I couldn’t possibly go without them! I also brought some simple jeggings, this awesome color-blocked sweater (it’s so great for layering!) and my green lightweight coat. It’s more than a jacket, but not quite a winter coat – so perfect for December in the south!

And now it’s officially acceptable to start decorating for Christmas, right? Can’t wait to put up a Christmas tree!

What are your holiday plans?
