Do you ever have those days where you feel like you have nothing to wear? Oh, every day? Yeah, me too. When I step into my closet, I’m usually searching for something simple, casual, comfortable and stylish. Shouldn’t be too much to ask for, right? I work from home so I don’t have much need for office clothes; I typically stick to what most people would wear on the weekends, which usually ends up being jean shorts and whatever shirt is clean at the moment. Not so stylish.

But the other day, I really felt like stepping it up a bit. What I ended up with was this fab outfit that I seriously love. I ordered last week and as soon as they arrived I put them on and refused to take them off. I saw my in the closet and even though it was extremely hot out, I was drawn to it. I decided to roll up the sleeves and tie the front to show off the high waist of the shorts.

When it came to the shoes, I first went for tan, but then these black lace up flats caught my eye. I’m not sure if I’ve ever even worn these beauties, but I thought they were perfect for this look. Finally, all that was missing was a touch of gold, so I grabbed my #travellush vertical bar necklace and I was ready to go. A red lip would have looked nice, but I kept it light since I was just running errands.
