Hola from Mexico! I’m so so so excited that I’m finally here. In all my travels, I’ve never even been to one of the closest countries to the US. And I have to say, so far I love it! I’ll be sure to write all about my trip here in the next few weeks, but until then, be sure to follow along on Instagram – I’ll be posting to stories daily!

I actually wore this outfit last week on a shopping trip, but can you tell it was Mexican-inspired? I was shopping for the trip so I had to get in the zone. This pink maxi skirt might have been my first one; I think I got it at least 3 years ago (also seen here!). I paired it with a fun and festive tee which I tied up to create a more flattering silhouette. The piña colada tee is one I got a while back as well, but it is so incredibly soft that I will wear it until it falls apart.

Finally, I added the hat, which definitely enhanced the whole Mexican-inspired look. The super cute poms are so festive and anything customized with my blog name is totally a win. You will be seeing a lot more of this hat during my trip! When I met up with Lauren, she was wearing this bag and I just had to steal it from her for these photos. Aren’t the tassels perfect?! So excited to have some Mexican adventures!
