When I was planning my trip it Italy, I knew I wanted to keep my style simple. I was going to be exploring and traveling and boating all day, so I wanted to be comfortable and dressed appropriately. I packed jeans, shorts and tee shirts. That was pretty much it. I did bring a couple dresses in case I went somewhere nice, but that never happened, which I am totally cool with!
Before my trip, I stocked up on classic tees from ONNO. I was new to the brand when I ordered, but a rep promised me the tees are super soft, which is what I was looking for. So I ordered three: a white tee, a black tee, and a grey tee. OMG. Definitely the right decision. They were so soft, went with anything and best of all, I didn’t have to think about what I was going to wear each day. I just threw on an ONNO tee and a pair of shorts and I was ready to explore.
The shirts I got are actually made out of bamboo. There are tons of benefits, but ONNO says it best themselves:
The benefits of bamboo are abundant. Because bamboo grows so quickly, it is a resource that is not only sustainable, but also gives back to the environment….the material you are wearing is fed by rain. Just rain. Little drops from the sky. Your shirt didn’t need to be bathed with water resources we can’t afford. It wasn’t saturated with pesticides or fertilizers. It grew naturally, with the sun, the rain, the stars and the moon.
I love that! Plus they come in a huge range of sizes, including XXS! After coming back from Italy, I washed my shirts immediately and packed them for my next trip: Costa Rica. Super fitting (pun intended), don’t you think?
