Waking up and getting ready is something I don’t always enjoy, but being in LA, it was one of my favorite parts of the day. I had so much fun with blogging buddy Lauren that getting ready for Lucky FABB with her was a great time. I love having someone to confirm my look of the day! Another reason I loved it was the 3 hour time change (yay for sleeping in!) and The Coffee Bean. We don’t have it here in Atlanta, so it’s always my first stop when I go to LA. I can’t live without iced coffee.

We also discovered a little donut shop a couple blocks away from our hotel, the W Los Angeles, called Stan’s. I didn’t really expect much when we got them, but OMG. These donuts were as delicious as they look! I can’t wait to get them again next time I’m in LA.

So Lauren and I got ready for Lucky FABB in our super cute Forever 21 pjs. I had been searching for the perfect light robe for so long and I’m so glad I finally found it in this lovely number. I am completely obsessed with wearing these two pieces together and definitely wear it far too often. But I mean, can you blame me? I feel so chic even when I’m just lounging at home!

On the day of the conference, we both wore our luxe Dolce & Gabbana makeup. As I have already gushed in a past post, I am completely obsessed with these luxury beauty products. The lipstick is seriously unmatched and the brow pencil is the best I’ve ever tried. I also got a plum colored kohl eyeliner that I have been wearing every day instead of my usual black and I like it so much better! It’s subtle, yet gets the job done.

Seriously, I think everything in LA is just better – especially the sunny mornings!
