I was treated to Lasik Eye Surgery from Diamond Vision in exchange for an honest review.
I can see!!! I am so excited to finally share my amazing Lasik Eye Surgery experience with Diamond Vision in Atlanta! Lasik is something I’ve always dreamed of, but since my vision wasn’t totally horrible, I kind of put it off. My prescription was -1.25 so I needed glasses when driving or watching TV, but I didn’t have to wear them any other time. I just wouldn’t be able to see like 20+ feet away in public. Things like shopping at Target, going to music festivals, or going out at night are much easier when I can actually see, but I never want to wear glasses on those occasions so I just dealt with it.
Even though my prescription wasn’t extreme, Lasik Eye Surgery has completely changed my life. My vision is now 20/10, which is even better than 20/20. Not only do I never have to worry about glasses ever again, but my confidence has gone through the roof. I never realized how much more timid I was in public before simply because I couldn’t see far away. I always had the worry in the back of my mind that I’d “see” someone I knew, but I wouldn’t say hi because, in reality, I couldn’t actually see them – even if we seemed to look directly at each other! I had no idea how much this affected me until I could actually see perfectly. I honestly feel like I have a superpower! If you’re thinking about getting Lasik Eye Surgery, I recommend it one million percent!!!
I think what made such a huge difference in actually moving forward with it was where I went: Diamond Vision. I was blown away by their hospitality, friendliness, and education. They explained everything to me in depth. They answered all my questions before I even asked them and made me feel extremely comfortable – so much so that I actually had the surgery the day after my first consultation! The doctor that operated on me, Dr. Stetson, was incredible. Such a nice guy and such impressive experience – he used to do lasik for the Air Force! If he’s good enough for our country’s defenders, who are required to have perfect vision, then he is certainly good enough for me! He has performed over 80,000 lasik eye surgeries. Talk about experience!!
The surgery itself, which you can watch on my IGTV, took only seven minutes! To me, it felt like 2. It was so quick. I still can’t believe that’s all it took to correct my vision. Why did I wait so long?! One of my best friends got lasik a few months ago and her experience definitely helped me decide to move forward. It truly is life-changing and something I think everyone should get!
I experienced no discomfort at all. Not during the surgery, not after, never. I did go to sleep about an hour after the surgery and slept for 6 hours, which is what they recommend. By the time I woke up, my vision was perfectly clear. The next morning, it was even better. I had a checkup the day after the surgery, one week after, and one month after. Then I think I have one in 6 months and then one year – all of which are included in the price you pay for the surgery. Speaking of which, is more than worth it, a million times over! But if you do need more incentive, Diamond Vision has been kind enough to offer 20% off to my readers and followers. Too kind! I would honestly recommend coming here to do it even if you don’t live close by. It seriously changed my life more than I could ever say.
Thank you to Diamond Vision, Dr. Stetson, Chris, and everyone on the team there for being so friendly, generous, and changing my life!
Have you ever considered getting Lasik Eye Surgery?

I have also considered Lasik for YEARS, but I’ve heard that your night vision becomes worse and sometimes your vision slowly goes back to the way it was. Did your treatment include and future “touch ups”?

It doesn’t include touch-ups, but they said I shouldn’t need them. I think that would probably be for more complicated cases!

I’ve thought about getting Lasik surgery but the last I checked, it was SO expensive for those who have astigmatism like me! I should look into it again though

My sister recently did lasik and she said it was a gamechanger. I have the opposite of what you have and need my glasses just for reading (since I hit 40) and my SIL who is an eye doctor told me I can’t have it done and my eyes were just gonna get worse. Ugh. Glad to hear you had a good experience. Not everyone is so lucky! Thanks for sharing!

I can’t imagine how scared you were and how hard it was to make this decision! To me, my eyes are that one thing that I don’t let anyone to touch, but hey I don’t need to wear glasses, but if I would, I think that finding a great doctor is key on making this decision!
