During one of our days on the town in Barcelona, we went to MACBA: the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art. It was a really cool museum with a super awesome gift shop. We wanted to buy everything! When we arrived, we immediately knew we were at the right place. The building is so super unique looking, especially among all the old architecture.

In front of the museum, dozens and dozens of school children stood watching boys skateboard and do tricks, jumps, etc. It was a really cool sight, and not much different than something you’d see in the US. I love it when things like that happen. It reminds me that even though I’m so far away from home, things aren’t so different.

It was extra chilly this day and since we walked a long way, I made sure I stayed warm by wearing a button up underneath my cozy turtleneck sweater. I even wore my trench coat for part of the day. We were outside almost the whole time and since a lot of the shops are in narrow alleyways between tall buildings, you don’t get to feel the warmth of the sun.

I wore my sneaks to stay comfy. They’ve totally been my go-to lately! I have needed a good pair for a while now and I really love these. I think I’ll need open toe for my next trip: Thailand. It’s going to be super hot! Any suggestions?
