Hallelujah! My brand new living room furniture has arrived and I’m obsessed! I can’t believe how gorgeous these pieces are. But let me back up. I moved into my apartment as a single gal in the city ready for a fresh start on my own. I was newly single and although this was not my first apartment with no roommates, I was still 100% focused on my making the space mine. And I did just that! But on a major budget. I had to keep whatever furniture I had accumulated over the years and just tried my best to make it work. My couch was tiny, my chairs didn’t all match, but the space was all mine and very girly. I loved it!

Fast forward almost 3 years in this apartment and I was ready for an update. Bae recently moved in and as we spent more and more time here, it became very clear that it was time to move on up. Although my little apartment couch was perfect for little ole me, it was not ideal for lounging around with another person. Watching our shows and movies was never as comfortable as it could have been and something had to be done.

After searching high and low for the perfect furniture, I came across a fellow blogger’s living room reveal. I fell in love with her huge couch! A few clicks later, I discovered it was made by Rove Concepts. And a few more clicks after that revealed a different couch and other furniture I completely fell in love with. I mean, just look at these pieces. Can you blame me!?

I knew I wanted to document my living room makeover on my blog, so I reached out to Rove Concepts with the idea and they were all in. I was so excited to start this awesome partnership! That was back in April and since all of their gorgeous pieces are made to order, it took a little over 3 months from my order confirmation to having them in my home set up and ready to go. I was able to pick the fabric and legs of the sectional and the chairs, as well as the base and top of the coffee table and two side tables. And here’s the best part: my boyfriend loved the blush pink I chose for the couch! I was deciding between white and pink, and he voted for pink so we wouldn’t have to worry as much about dirt and stains. I couldn’t believe it!

The color is even more beautiful in person than I imagined. It’s a very muted, subtle pink–more like a neutral than a strong splash of color–and I couldn’t be happier with it. It compliments my style perfectly and I’m so happy I was able to find a way to keep my style in a home I share with a man. The room feels light and airy, yet warm and welcoming. The perfect combo if you ask me! Next, I just need to figure out a few good pieces of art to put up and the room will be complete! Then I plan to tackle the dining room. Any suggestions for that?!

If you’re in the market for furniture, I can’t recommend Rove Concepts enough. The process was so super easy and the pieces are the best quality I’ve ever owned. I’m so proud when people come over and see my living room! They also have awesome sales regularly, so be sure to keep an eye out!
