Love at First Sight

Don’t you just love shopping for glasses? I did just that this past weekend at LensCrafters in Macy’s at Lenox Mall and had so much fun. I love trying on all the frames to see what I like best. I posted some of my favorites on Snapchat, so thanks to everyone who helped me choose these stunning frames!

LensCrafters

Glasses are still pretty new to me. I got my first pair just four years ago – right around the same time I started my blog. Being on the computer all day everyday is absolutely the reason my vision has worsened – that and staring at my phone all day.

The first time I got glasses, I was amazed. I knew my vision had gotten worse, but I had no idea the world could be viewed in HD. If you haven’t gotten an eye exam in a while, I would definitely suggest running into Lenox and getting it done real quick.

My experience this time was by far the best I’ve had when it comes to glasses shopping. The exam itself was super quick and easy – and incredibly informative. The store manager Jon (and my Snapchat friends!) helped me pick the perfect frames and I couldn’t be happier. I mean, just look at them!

While I was shopping for my new frames, I noticed the trend of plastic/metal combo frames like these. I already have one pair of plastic frames and one metal, so the combination was the perfect way for me to get something new and stylish. It was a really close call between these and a very similar pair, but overall these smaller frames fit my head better.

Another great thing about the plastic/metal combo is that they are super versatile. The plastic makes them great for everyday wear while the gold brings a glamorous, classic touch. I went with black and gold because it will go with everything, from a t-shirt and shorts to business wear to weekend vibes, these are the perfect glasses for me.
