You know those pieces in your closet that are so special and beautiful that you only want to wear them every once in a while? That’s what is for me. It’s not super high end or formal at all, but ever since I got it, it has been hands down my favorite piece. We all know I love love love white, so it’s no surprise that my favorite item I own would be white. But there are so many more reasons this dress is my favorite.

Not only is it the perfect color, but I absolutely love the cut. It’s not totally form fitting, but it also doesn’t just hang on me like some boho-inspired pieces might. The slight bell sleeves are incredible – they’re actually one of my favorite trends right now. But the best thing about this beautiful dress is the fabric and beautifully intricate design. How stunning is the detailing? When something is so far from simple, I find it hard to categorize it as a classic, but this dress is definitely an exception. I have loved it since I got it in 2014 (check out how I styled it in 2016 and 2015!).

I wore it here to a fun event at NARS at the Shops at Buckhead. I styled it with that I totally forgot about until I finally pulled out my spring/summer shoe box. They’re so they’re super comfy and just totally align with my style. The only annoying part is the laces. I thought I was done with tying my shoes. But a double knot did help. I wore my prescription sunnies and no bag. To be honest, I go bagless a lot. It’s just easier! But sometimes the outfit just calls for it, ya know?
