Welcome to Lush to Blush! My name is Megan Elliott and I am the creator behind LushtoBlush.com, a little peek into my travel-addicted, home decor-obsessed life. I believe everyone deserves to live a life of luxury, whatever that may mean to you. I strive to find the beauty in the everyday and indulge in the little luxuries as much as I can. Here, you will find a collection of all things lovely, including the design + decor of my new home, favorite places to travel, beauty tutorials, and blogging tips.
Home Decor
When the pandemic hit, I was forced to stop traveling and put down roots. I purchased my first home and anchored myself in Atlanta, Georgia, where I have lived for nearly 10 years now. Owning my home changed my view on putting effort into decor, and for the first time in my life, I’m building a home. Inspired by my love of luxury travel and the many beautiful resorts and hotels I’ve visited over the years, I’ve gone room to room decorating my home to create a true reflection of me and my life. My design style is a mix of fresh, mod, and feminine with just a touch of relaxed boho, resulting in a space that is welcoming and stylish.
Travel
Growing up, I never thought I’d have the chance to travel and see the world, although it was always a dream of mine. I watched my friends go off and study abroad in Europe and Asia while I stayed in Tallahassee (Go Noles!) summer after summer amassing more and more student loan debt.
It wasn’t until 2015 at 27 years old that I finally left the country for the first time. I was immediately hooked. I knew from that moment on, no matter what, I would make sure that I see as much of this world as possible during my time on Earth. Thanks to this little blog of mine, I’ve been able to not only pay off that student debt, but I’ve now been to over 30 countries and live the lush life of my dreams.

Beauty
Besides sharing my world travels and outfits, I love sharing beauty products that are both safe and effective. As someone with sensitive skin, I have tried it all. Turns out, I was using products with harmful ingredients. Now that I’ve gotten my skin to a place where I’m no longer suffering from constant breakouts, I’m tackling anti-aging. I truly enjoy sharing everything that has worked for me! From skincare to makeup tutorials and haircare, I share it all!
My goal is to create a space for you to get away for a little bit and relax. I hope you enjoy your time here and please don’t hesitate to email me with questions, ideas, or just to chat. My inbox is always open!
Web Design & Blog Consulting
Aside from my blog, I currently work as a web designer and am the co-founder of blog consulting agency. I’m passionate about helping other bloggers, so after seeing the demand in my inbox of people asking for help, I started up these two businesses with a mission to share what I’ve learned and help other women see the success and happiness I have. I also created a Blog Talk series to share what I’ve learned along the way.
In my spare time, I hang out with my family, watch my shows (Housewives, anyone?!), and am an avid reader/listener of audiobooks. I am a huge lover of the earth and everything on it, especially flowers, and have been a vegetarian for 15 years. I find comfort in iced coffee and scented candles. I’m a freelance writer for various publications and also specialize in social media marketing and all things digital media. Thanks for stopping by!
