For our last day in LA, Johnny, my sister, her boyfriend Braden and I all headed over to Manhattan Beach for the day. Our flight wasn’t until the evening and since Manhattan Beach is so close to the airport, it was the perfect place to spend our last California afternoon.
The small beach town is super cute and very quaint. All of the houses are very close together, so I imagine the sense of community is fairly strong here. It was a little cool out on the Wednesday afternoon that we went, which must be the reason why the beach was pretty much deserted.
It actually didn’t feel that cold once we got there. The sun was out and it wasn’t as windy as it was in Malibu or at El Matador Beach. I wore my newest bathing suit, which I designed myself and a cute little royal blue coverup.
After the beach, we went out to eat and then sadly headed to the airport. The trip was so much fun and I love California even more now after seeing so many new places, especially Napa! I can’t wait to be back in August!

It was incredibly peaceful when we were there. The only other people were some runners and people riding bicycles. There was no one on the actual beach! I loved it 🙂

I went to high school in Manhattan Beach and live just down the street now 🙂 So glad you liked our little laid-back community! Also, I’m in love with the cover up. The color is just gorgeous!
