My bedtime beauty routine has always been sacred to me. It’s a time to unwind, relax and get ready to cuddle in bed with a good book and warm cup of cinnamon almond milk…or maybe wine, depending on the day. But as I got ready for bed the other day, I thought it would be fun to share my routine and discuss some of my new favorite products.
By no means do I have perfect skin. I’m the first to admit that. It’s acne-prone, but not particularly oily nor dry – super frustrating! Almost everything I use breaks me out. I finally discovered some skin allergies I have, so when I find a product that doesn’t break me out, I have to share.
I know I’m still young, but as my 20s come to a close, I’ve decided to make a shift in my skincare routine. While I do still need products to fight blemishes, I also need to prepare for the inevitable aging that will occur in my skin. It’s super important to be proactive, so while I don’t have wrinkles yet, I’ve begun using anti-aging products. I’ll be honest, I’ve tried a ton. But I’ve finally found a line that doesn’t break me out: Jouviance.
Jouviance has been a top beauty brand in Canada for years and they’ve finally arrived in the US (). The first step in my nighttime beauty routine is to cleanse my face. I use Cetaphil. It’s the only cleanser I’ve found that adequately cleans my face but doesn’t overdo it and make my skin go cray. Next, I use Jouviance Powerful Antioxidant Moisturizer. It’s best to use a moisturizer without SPF for nighttime, and this stuff moisturizes. Like a lot. Perfect for colder weather, right?
Next I use the Jouviance 3-in-1 Anti-aging Cream. It’s made especially for eyes, but I use it all over. It feels like a thick lotion, which I love. During the summer I might skip this step, but I’ll definitely be using it all winter long. Finally, there’s the Jouviance Revive Invigorating Eye Serum. I’ve never been much of an eye serum person. I don’t really see much of a difference because I don’t have under eye circles or wrinkles or anything, but I’ve still been using this for the long-term benefits. I think this stuff will come in extra handy on the occasional going out night, ya feel me?
After all that, I brush my teeth and I get to reading – my favorite luxury in life. How lucky that I have time to read every day.
What’s your nighttime beauty routine?

Thanks for sharing, Megan! It’s nice to know of a great skincare brand that doesn’t cause break outs for allergenic skin. Also gotta support my Canadian brands (I’m from Canada π )
