Patchwork & Plaid

I’ve been sharing summer to fall transitional outfits for the past week, with a couple more coming next week. Today, my tip is to incorporate patchwork denim & plaid. I recently went on a little online shopping spree at Old Navy and was so happy when my package arrived. I loved everything!
Before I got these, I owned just one pair of boyfriend jeans and with fall just around the corner, I knew I wanted more. After all, once it’s too cold for sundresses I’m going to need something comfortable to wear in public!

I haven’t always been a huge patchwork denim lover, but this season I’m totally feeling the carefree vibe of the trend. Paired with the laidback boyfriend cut, I think they’re perfect for fall! I tied my plaid top around my waist and topped it all off with one of my signature wide brim fedoras. This entire outfit was under $75. Yep, I know. Amazing.
Are you a fan of patchwork denim?

To be honest, I’ve never been a fan of patchwork denim either, but I really love these ones, since they’re a bit more subtle. This whole outfit is so perfect for a fall transition!
