A Perfect Picnic in Paris

One of my favorite things to do in Paris is drinking wine al fresco. Seriously, we did it every single day. What makes having wine outside even better is doing it with a view of the Eiffel Tower. I mentioned it in another post, but having a picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower is a very common thing in Paris. It’s pretty obvious why.

So since we hired a photographer, we decided to recreate our picnics for some pretty photos. In addition to really great (and super cheap!) wine, Paris also has tons of bakeries, fruit stands, and cheese shops. Everything there is just so incredibly fresh and delicious. We definitely paid a premium for these strawberries – they actually cost more than the bottle of wine at 7 euros! Ha, worth it though.

We used a cute tote to carry all of our goodies and blanket. It’s kind of a fun fashion twist on a picnic basket. How cute are the tassels?! And it’s funny, but we didn’t even plan to coordinate our outfits – we all just ended up wearing white and blue! I’ve actually been having quite a few picnics lately. I had it on my 30 before 30 list and in the past 3 months, I’ve had like 3 or 4 picnics. I love it!

What do you bring on your picnics?
