Pineapple

There are many reasons why summer is my favorite season, but the sun, the pool and lazy days are at the top of the list. Lounging by the pool never gets old, especially if you are with your favorite people. And have a drink in hand, of course. Since summer is my favorite season, I obviously stock up on cute bathing suits and pool accessories, like this awesome pineapple bathing suit and super fun round beach towel.

This bathing suit was not a planned purchase, I was shopping at Target and as all Target trips go, I saw it and couldn’t resist. I am definitely in a one piece phase right now. It’s all I’ve been attracted to lately. I have gotten 3 new ones just this year. Someone stop me!…Or don’t because they’re cute and I love them.

I actually got the towel a while back, but have finally been able to use it now that I’m going to the pool regularly. Isn’t it awesome?! I can’t decide if I like the shape, the print or the tassels most.

When I’m at the pool, I typically go for beer, but on this day Lauren and I had sangria. Pro tip: use frozen fruits instead of fresh fruits. That way, you can skip the ice (and the watered down sangria as a result). You’re welcome.
