Plaid on a Snow Day

You might have heard that Atlanta got hit with a little snow last week. Yeah, kind of sad how we couldn’t deal with it, but I have to admit that it was a lot of fun to play in. For the past 10 winters (not counting last year), I was living in Florida. And in Florida, winter isn’t really the right word to use. The coldest it got was like 50 in the daytime. Don’t get me wrong, I miss that, but at the same time, it was really cool to see the snow fall last week. It was a beautiful disaster, but I choose to focus on the positive.
So of course I had to go outside to see it up close and touch it for myself. I’ve seen snow before, but not like this. So I threw on a sweater over my pj top and zipped on the only boots I have (definitely not snow boots, btw) and ran outside to play. Luckily, my boyfriend is a photographer, so he caught some nice moments out there. My playtime didn’t last long–after all, I am a Florida girl at heart–but it was great while it lasted.
{ plaid top: Target (sold out) similar & // sweater: H&M, old (this season) & // jeans: // boots: BCBG (sold out) similar , ;// glasses: Rowley Eyewear }
Have you played in the snow yet this winter?
And since it’s Vday season…

Thank you! I love those pj’s because if I’m feeling lazy, I can just throw on a jacket, change my pants and go!

You are so cute! I love plaid in winter. As you know, I just got to Toronto from Florida, so I went from warm weather to a snow storm. I have been loving walking outside in it!

Thank you! It was really cool to see all the snow here, but as you probably heard, it didn’t really go over so well in the city.

So jealous! I miss living in Oklahoma and actually getting snow (or ice as it was most of the time). It’s raining here today, so I guess that’s as close to snow as it’s going to get in this part of California!! 🙂
