I’ve never been one for bold prints. I do love them every now and then and I really love a good print mixing look, but this is my subtle take on the popular trend. I got these shorts the other day for FIFTEEN DOLLARS. Total score!!! The top is one J.McLaughlin sent me a while back and to be honest, I wasn’t sure I’d ever wear it. But after browsing my closet for a while, I decided I liked it paired with the shorts. I didn’t think it was my style at all, but now that summer has rolled around, I’m liking it a little more.
I love how the two prints go together. They totally complement each other in a fresh and summery way. I paired this look with my new The Frye Company flats that I love. I always leave a pair of shoes by the door that go with everything, and these flats are definitely that pair. The light pink color is fresh & feminine while the texture is a little exotic & trendy. Such a perfect combo if you ask me!
I brought all my pool items in this great The Frye Company tote. It can fit so much in it and as always, I love the versatile cognac color! And good news: Nordstrom Rack & Hautelook are having a major The Frye Company flash sale starting tomorrow. Get these goodies and more at a major discount!
