Nothing says summer like a good palm print, am I right?! It’s totally one of my favorite prints to really bring those tropical vibes and doing it in a small way, like with these shoes, is perfect as we transition into summer. What’s that? Summer’s not for another two months? Well I’m just going to soak up as much of this warm weather for as long as possible.

I actually picked out this top and these shorts first, but it felt a little plain. I love a good, simple look, but I have to admit that it did feel like it was missing something. I looked through my flats and these caught my eye. I had been wanting to wear them for a while, but I wasn’t sure how to style them. I loved the color combination of the royal blue with the green leaves and I thought the white shorts helped tone down the brightness a little for a nice balance.

I wore this outfit to pick someone up at the airport, but I think it’d be great for lunch, a neighborhood walk, a day at the park, errands, and so much more! I’ve really been loving these Ray-bans lately (is it obvious?) because I think they really add a level of cool and trend to an outfit. That’s exactly what I was looking for with this outfit! And needless to say, once again my white crossbody went perfectly. Definitely a great purchase!
