Seafoam on the First Day of Spring

One of my favorite items of clothing is the maxi dress. My closet boasts several floor length dresses not only because of their beautiful and elegant design, but also for their comfort. I love maxi dresses for the same reason I love boyfriend jeans and oversized sweaters: they combine cozy and chic. But it wasn’t until just a few weeks ago that I bought my first maxi skirt and guys, I think I’m in love.
I found this gorgeous seafoam colored skirt at one of my new favorite stores: Dress Up. This awesome boutique has a location just downstairs from where I live and I love to go there not only for the incredible selection and affordable prices, but also for the unmatched customer service. The Dress Up girls always make me feel like I’m shopping with a friend when they help me pick something out – they’re just so sweet and helpful!

I paired this maxi skirt with a cropped tee I got from another favorite, Riffraff. I am totally obsessing over the mesh panel inserts. It adds a refreshing aspect to a simple white tee. I topped it off with this stunning statement pendant necklace from Accessory Concierge and threw on some old wedges from Just Fab. I think this look turned out great with the final touch being my pretty, delicate bracelet from JewelJam. It’s the perfect outfit for the first day of spring!

Such an adorable outfit, I wish I had your knack for creating cute outfits! I always love going to stores where I feel like the employees try to genuinely help you as opposed to seeing you as just another customer. It definitely makes the experience π

I wish I wasn’t so short, because I’d be all over the maxi skirt/ dress trend. That’s such a beautiful color too! It reminds me of princess Ariel in her out on the town skirt. Great outfit post.
