This past week has been such a great holiday break and I couldn’t have asked for more. My sister came to Atlanta all the way from LA and we spent Chrsitmas together, complete with a holiday feast, festive drinks and quality family time. We even went down to Alabama to visit our grandparents (and get some boiled peanuts) the other day. She left yesterday and I miss her already! We did have time for a quick photo session though. Some of the gifts I got her included makeup, so after I didย her makeup, we headed up to the roof to snap some family pics.
It was nearly impossible to get through it without busting out in uncontrollable laughter. Our silly poses included good cop/bad cop, Charlie’s Angels, me trying to be the older sister (I am 2 years older than her but she still calls me her “baby sister”!) and more.
I can’t wait to seeย my other half again. I’m not sure when that will be, but life just isn’t the same when she’s not around! There’s just something so special about a sister that words can’t even describe.
Do you have a sister?

I have sister and she’s everything to me! My daily life is never complete without her, but unfortunately we don’t live in the same country, so we have to stay in touch via Skype, but that helps too, until we’re seeing each other.

I too have a sister who is two years younger than me, but since she’s taller she calls me her “little sister” ๐
I couldn’t imagine life without my sister. I totally agree that “Thereโs just something so special about a sister that words canโt even describe.”

I have 7 sisters but only 5 living sisters. I lost my baby sister and then my oldest sister within the past year. We don’t get together like we should and miss those days when we were with young children. We visited more often then. Three of mine do live close to 3 hours away. Enjoy every moment you can get with your sister1 Loved the photos!

Oh wow, I’m so sorry!! That must be really hard. My sister lives in LA (I’m in Atlanta), so we only get to see each other a couple times a year.

You are both very beautiful! I don’t have a sister. I always wished I did. I do have a group of friends though that I called sistas!

Thank you so much! It is definitely a special bond. But I consider my best friend a sister, so those friends are very special as well!
