A couple of months ago, I had my first ever solo travel experience, completely unplanned. The day before I was set to head back to the U.S. from Bali, I felt a tug to stay. My time wasn’t finished there, and I knew there was more I needed. So instead of heading home with my girl Elise, I canceled my flight, booked a hotel, and officially joined the solo travel for women movement.

That experience planted a seed. And this summer, it’s fully blooming.

Being solo in Bali made me realize how much I love traveling alone. It’s funny, I don’t know why I thought I wouldn’t like it. I love my solitude, I love living alone, and I love traveling. Being solo in another country isn’t scary. It’s not lonely. And it’s definitely not boring. There’s this incredible freedom that comes with it. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, without a care in the world. There’s a sense of accomplishment, independence, and excitement that I don’t get anywhere else.

So I moved out of my apartment, sold my car, and bought a one-way ticket to Greece. No plans. No itinerary. Just following my intuition and letting life lead. I’m calling it my Solo Summer Series, a time to heal, to remember myself, and to feel alive again.

Why I Chose Europe for My First Solo Summer

There’s something about solo travel in Europe that makes it feel so accessible, especially as a woman. I’ve been to Greece many times and feel so comfortable there, so it was the perfect place to start. If you’re considering solo travel Europe for the first time, it’s one of the most welcoming and easy places to begin. I’ve traveled solo before, but never quite like this. Not for this long. Not with this level of surrender.

This summer is about listening to my inner knowing. About softness and slow living. About not needing to figure it all out right away.

Actually, this was originally supposed to be a brand partnership, a luxury yacht cruise through the Adriatic. When the brand pulled out, I almost scrapped the whole thing. But then I remembered… this trip was never really about them. It was always about me. And I trust that everything will unfold exactly as it’s meant to.

Solo travel for women isn’t just possible. It is powerful. It reconnects you to your own inner compass. It helps you rediscover the parts of yourself that get lost in noise, relationships, responsibility, and the constant doing. And it opens you up to new connections, deeper intuition, and the kind of magic that only happens when you give yourself the space to wander.

This isn’t about checking boxes or chasing approval or even about creating content. It’s about creating space to come back to myself and sharing the journey. If that resonates with anyone else, if you’ve been craving a shift or hearing that quiet whisper, or just want to live vicariously through my adventures, then this series is for you.

I’ll be sharing the journey here and on Instagram & Tiktok, in real time, as it unfolds.

Let’s see where this takes us. Will I ever come back?
