As you may know, Donna Cardana and I have been documenting our experiences with an incredible skincare line by Somme Institute, a research company that has developed amazing, miraculous products that leave skin soft, smooth and clear. The line consists of a 5 step regimen, but there are also products that enhance results, such as my personal favorite: Boost.
Boost is a warming face mask that “boosts” the results of the 5 step regimen. The consistency is unlike any other mask I have used in the past. It is thick and sticky and does not dry up at all. The smell reminds me of pumpkins and oatmeal, which makes sense because it contains pumpkin enzymes.
Every time I use Boost, my skin is close to perfect the next day! I use it about once every three days, but according to Somme, it is ok to use it every day if you want. After you wash your face, apply the mask to your cheeks, chin, nose and forehead and leave on for about 10 minutes. As you massage the mask on your face, a warming effect is activated. I love that because it’s like you can feel it working! Then just rinse it off and continue with the usual 5 steps. Do yourself a favor and try this line out. I promise you won’t regret it!!
Have you tried Somme? Which face mask do you use in your routine?

There are different kinds of masks (e.g. cactus, cucumber, etc.) for different purposes: deep-cleansing, by penetrating the pores; healing acne scars or hyper-pigmentation; brightening, for a gradual illumination of the skin tone. Some masks are designed to dry or solidify on the face, almost like plaster; others just remain wet. ^-^`
