Strolling in Athens

No, not Athens, Greece; Athens, Georgia. Not quite as exotic, but still super cute! Like I shared last week, I recently spent a day in my beau’s college town shooting the lookbook for my latest collaboration: a jewelry collection with Crafts and Love! If you missed the first look, catch it here.
For this portion of the day, we stopped at the botanical gardens, walked around downtown Athens, ate at a local vegetarian restaurant, and toured the UGA campus. The town is so cute and the campus totally reminded me of Florida State. It was so cool to see all the places Johnny used to frequent in his college days. After a stop at the book store and a view of the gorgeous stadium, we went to a cafe for dessert – fresh made donuts topped with cereal. Amazing!

I really loved the downtown area and definitely plan to go back again soon. Be sure to check back later in the week to see the gorgeous garden we stumbled across on campus!
Have you ever been to Athens, Georgia?

I hope the vegetarian place you stopped at was the Grit! The most delicious place! I love Athens – went to school to UGA as well and miss that city all the time. Thank goodness for football coming back on Saturday!

I definitely thought Athens, Greece when I first clicked on your post haha. But based on the images you shared, it is really beautiful there.
Your new jewelry is really pretty. One of my friends is a big fan of stone jewelry and I know she would love your pieces. I’ll send her your way!

I love Athens! I have multiple friends there and UGA was one of my options for college, however Statesboro is where I get to call home! You can’t beat Game Day in Athens though!

I love college towns! In my experience, they always have the best boutiques with really interesting and unique things.

I love your bridgette — sun and dangle earrings, my favorite from the shop is also castello — crystal spear with brass triangles.
