I’ve always been a fan of those surprise box subscription services. There’s just something so special about getting a surprise in the mail. So when I heard about Golden Tote, I knew I would love it. Golden Tote is one of these surprise services.
First, you fill out a style profile. Then you have two choices: a $49 option with 2-3 items (up to a $200 value) and a $149 option with 5-7 items (up to a $600 value!). For the lower price, you get to choose one item and are surprised with the rest while with the $149 tote, you get to choose two of your own.
{ clothing ℅ Golden Tote // bag ℅ // boots ℅ Off Broadway Shoes // mules ℅ Off Broadway Shoes // booties ℅ }
I chose the $149 option and ended up with 6 items in my tote. I have to be honest, I was a little worried at first. I can be kind of picky and since I am so petite, finding clothes that fit can be hard. But I was very pleasantly surprised upon the arrival of my Golden Tote. All of the clothes actually fit pretty well except for one dress – the one that I chose! So I think the staff at Golden Tote did a great job of choosing the right items for me.
To tell you the truth, some of the items are clothes I wouldn’t typically pick for myself, but that’s actually what I loved about the experience. I got to branch out a little and try some new styles. I’ll definitely continue to incorporate the items into my fall wardrobe.
Do you like surprises?

This website sounds so awesome- I’m glad you introduced it to us! Also, that geometric patterned shift on the right is to die for- I think I need it in my closet too! Haha. And I totally understand what you mean by being wary of online shopping for clothes because of being petite- I feel like I get excited everytime I order and receive a package….and then promptly return it because it fits terribly.

Ah, I’ve heard of Golden Tote before but ruled it out because I figured sizing would be an issue. But I might just have to give them a shot now, haha.
