Miranda Kerr was a new face to America when she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2007. Since then, she has become a household name and has come into her own to become a style icon for millions of women around the globe. The five foot nine Aussie has learned a lot about fashion in her twenty nine years from walking the runway for top fashion designers to being the face of Victoria’s Secret PINK. So what is her personal style tip? “I like to be comfortable, but it depends on my mood. I like to dress for my mood. I think fashion can be a great expression of how you’re feeling.” Miranda has certainly held true to this in her day to day life. Of course, it is likely much easier to be comfortable AND look perfect when you’re one of the top earning models on Earth.
Miranda also loves to layer clothing when it is a little chilly outside. “It’s always been one of my favorite things to do” she confesses. And “add some color. It’s not all about black and white.”

What is your personal style tip? Do you consider Miranda Kerr a style icon?

Love Miranda’s style. I’ll be looking to her for inspiration for a trip I’m taking to New York City in July.

I’ve this style too! But anything looks good when you’re 5’9″! Any suggestions for us shorter girls? I love capris but not sure if they make me look shorter…?

Thanks! I wouldn’t recommend capris to shorter women; they tend to cut you off and make you look shorter. Try skinny jeans or wide leg jeans with heels. If you like the look of capris, try cropped denim. The style is a little longer on us shorties, but it definitely looks cute and current while allowing us to keep our height.

Not sure why my mobile device prefers “I’ve” to “I love,” but at any rate, I love this style! 🙂
