Summer Boyfriend

Jeans are always a favorite go to of mine. They’re so simple and easy to just throw on and go out the door. Sadly, skinny jeans can get too hot in the summer down here in Georgia. But I’ve discovered that I don’t get quite as hot in boyfriend jeans, especially when I style them appropriately.
Oftentimes when I wear boyfriend jeans, I feel the need to dress them up since they can be a little slouchy. I’ll pair them with big jewels and point toe pumps. But in the summer (especially on the weekends), I think it’s totally ok to be a little unkempt. I wore my boyfriend jeans with a super casual tee. I tied it up to define my waist since both pieces have a loose fit.
I added some casual glam with my jeweled sandals and finished it off with a simple black tote. I think my day old curls kind of solidify the whole casual tousled summer look. I really didn’t feel hot at all and I walked around outside for quite a while. Yay for boyfriend jeans in the summer!

Styling definitely makes a huge difference, but it’s important to recognize that they aren’t the most flattering cut. It’s more about comfort than showing off your shape!

I love how simple this outfit is yet chic. I don’t own any boyfriend pants, because I am afraid that with my small body they wouldn’t look right. I am tempted to try them though.

Looks like a perfect pair of boyfriend jeans! Im petite so I do struggle with them and have to wear some sort of heel but Ive recently bought some denim culottes and they’re ideal for summer x
