Stripes are a favorite of mine year round, but I usually tend to stick to horizontal stripes. When I was in Barcelona last month, I knew I had to buy a few pieces of clothing and this top was one of them. After being denied a few purchases from shops that didn’t accept American Express (tear), I finally came across this casual top. I had to have it…and so did my mom. So we both got them and we couldn’t be happier!

Since it is HOT in the south, I styled it with some black shorts and my new . I wore my nude slip-on heels since I didn’t want to stick strictly to black and white only. It’s so funny that I still find myself drawn to neutrals in the spring and summer. I do love a good pink accent or floral print, but really, my true favorite has to be neutrals.

Although I definitely see myself wearing lots of color as I spend the next month in Thailand! I leave on Friday for LA and then on Monday I’m off to Thailand with my sister to meet up with our college friend Alex. It’s going to be life-changing. I can’t wait!
