Sunday Business Brunch

Happy Monday! To be honest, I dread Mondays as much as the next person, but as a blogger and entrepreneur, weekends aren’t exactly the most relaxing time for me. In fact, I’m probably busier on the weekends taking photos, going to meetings and catching up on emails than I am on the weekdays when I usually stay at home and work from my desk.
This past weekend, I had quite a few meetings but luckily, one of them included brunch. Since it was a meeting for work, I wanted to keep my look appropriate, but also let my personality show. I paired my casual skinny jeans with some nude pointed stilettos to create a balanced weekend professional look. I kept warm in my new beige coat and my only cashmere sweater – you only need one, right?

I love how the ripped jeans and nude heels looked paired together. I was craving some over the knee boots for this look, but I’m glad I went with these. Though I might have just been thinking about these boots that I really want. That sale is just too good to pass up!
How do you balance business with casual?
