While I was in LA a couple weeks ago, I went exploring a little bit before I had to come back to Georgia. My sister, who recently moved to Los Angeles, and I spent the day with our boyfriends. It was a lot of fun to stroll the streets and we even ended up at the beach at sunset. For our relaxed day in the California sun, I wore a simple striped shift dress, my favorite Free people hat, some aviators and my nude booties.

We started off with a late lunch in Beverly Hills at Kate Mantilini. The food was really good. We got fresh guacamole as an appetizer – yum! I just love it when they make it at the table.

We walked around a bit and then decided to head to the Santa Monica pier for sunset. It was absolutely beautiful! It’s so strange, but the sunsets in California are completely different than they are here. Even though Johnny is the best photographer in the entire world, there is just no way to do the gorgeous sunset justice. It’s one of those things you just have to see in person.

There is just so much to do in LA. We didn’t even get close to doing everything we wanted to. Oh well, there’s always next time!

What is your favorite thing to do in LA?
