Fanny packs have been the butt of jokes for several years. The accessory has been viewed as a tourist staple and a major fashion faux pas. But suddenly, things have changed. Fanny packs are in and models are sporting them on and off duty.
Unlike the fanny packs of fashion past, the updated version is more structured and made with higher quality materials. The shape has changed slightly and the colors are less vibrant than the neons of the eighties. Moschino tried it for Fall/Winter 2012 and now we are seeing the accessory more for Spring/Summer 2013. Even one of my most fashionable friends has been seen sporting the fanny pack and I have to admit, it does look very convenient! Will you be wearing a fanny pack this spring?
