Thanksgiving, thankful, what I'm thankful for, grateful

This year, I’m spending Thanksgiving on the French island of Guadeloupe instead of with my family. Don’t worry, I did have a fakesgiving with my grandparents and brother over the weekend. But sitting here on this gorgeous island on Thanksgiving is so fitting for me. Because what I’m most thankful for–besides the usual health, family and friends–is being able to do what I love every single day. And it’s all because of you.

I still can’t believe that I’m able to blog full time and travel the world pretty much as often as I’d like. It’s surreal. Today, I’m taking the time to reflect on that and say thanks to YOU, my readers. None of this would be possible without you. It can be so easy to get caught up in the business of blogging, negotiating contracts, freaking out about the Instagram algorithm, and so much more, that it’s easy to lose sight of what is going great. I’m honestly so lucky to have people that care about what I’m writing. Because it truly is my passion.

I started my blog as a creative outlet so I could write every day. It has turned into so much more. It’s a community, and I love every single member. I can’t tell you how much each and every comment, Instagram DM, and email means to me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I love you more than you know!
