The Beauty of Hydration

As I mentioned in a recent post, I suffer from dehydration all over my face. It’s largely due to too much coffee/wine and not drinking enough water, so I have to take extra steps to make sure my skin stays hydrated. As a twenty-something, I’m in that stage of my life where I still suffer from breakouts and have to worry about fine lines, so when I find a product that helps with both, it’s like the holy grail.
Enter Biossance. I started using this hydrating product about a month ago and I am loving the results. Biossance uses plant-derived, patented emollient, 100% Neossance Squalane as its active ingredient, which is why I wasn’t worried about trying it on my skin. When it’s something natural, my sensitive skin doesn’t get irritated, as was the case with Biossance. It’s actually dermatologist tested, paraben-free, non-comedogenic, and hypoallergenic. Biossance uses a moisturizer found naturally in your body to replenish the skin.
It’s important to note that I have not been using this as any sort of replacement for a moisturizer. It actually helps in boosting the effects of moisturizer. In fact, it does more than just hydrate the skin. You can actually use Biossance on your body, hair and nails. Every time I put it on, I run my hands through my hair and then add an extra drop for my hands. It’s a quick and easy way to boost hydration all around!
Biossance officially launches July 1, but they’re accepting orders now! I honestly love this hydration booster and since it’s recommended for all skin types, it’s totally worth a try no matter what your specific needs may be!
What do you do to hydrate your skin?

You know, a lot of people love that recovery serum, but I tried it and didn’t have good results. Maybe I’ll give it another try!

I have dry skin too and I hear you about the coffee and wine! I keep buying green tea thinking I’ll give up my morning coffee but alas… nope!

I just make sure to drink alot of water and when I wash my face, I don´t use a towel, I leave my face to ¨drink¨ the water, you know?
