The Pineapple Incident

One morning, I woke up after a fun night to a pineapple on my nightstand. I had no idea where it came from and to this day I’m still wondering. Just kidding, that’s an episode from HIMYM and if you already knew that, I love you. Johnny and I totally bought a pineapple to use as a prop for photos. Oh, the life of a photographer and a blogger. After taking these photos, we cut it up and made some sangria. Vacation life is the best life!
In addition to going to the beach in Kauai, another favorite activity of mine was to go out to eat to sample the different foods they offer in Hawaii. To be honest, I couldn’t try a lot of it since I’m a vegetarian (well, it’s not that I couldn’t, I just didn’t want to eat pork), but the things I did eat–like the fresh fruits and cheese fries–were amazing. I do have to say though, I noticed that a lot of the food is super salty, which was a little overwhelming for me. Plus doesn’t salt make you bloated? Not ideal for the beach, ya feel me? So anyway, after a day at the beach, I’d have to layer up and look dinner aprops. This day, I wore the maxi I got from Mosaic (more on that fab boutique here!) on top of my L*Space swimsuit.
I thought it was a perfect match and I loved walking on the beach in an elegant maxi. So fun!

Loving the L*Space bikini top, and your Hawaii are awesome! Also, I laughed as soon as I read the title, HIMYM was one of my favorite shows.

Hawaii looks gorgeous! I’ve always wanted to go, but never found the right time — it’s a very long flight from Norway!
Spending time on the beach is always a favourite on vacation, in addition to exploring every art museum and church within sights, trying lots of local dishes and people watch over a cappucino or drink at an outside cafe/bar.
