This past weekend, I was so surprised to walk outside and find that it was a warm 75˚ out. It was so nice to soak up the sun for what might be the one of the last times this year. Last week, it was chilly, but now I am happy to report that it is warm again (in the 80s this week! Woohoo!). I guess they call it Hotlanta for a reason!
Since it was so nice out, but not too hot, I opted for a new maxi I got from a really great online shop called Boutikey. I thought it was perfect for my southern transition into fall because of its fun colors and long length. I am in love with its maxi take on a high-low hem. It’s so unique, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. So I am wearing fun pieces like this and pretending it’s summer for as long as I can.

Is it warm or cold where you live?

Love this dress – you’re totally right, the color and length are perfect for fall but still cool enough for 80 degrees! We had an 80 degree day over the weekend here in Columbus, crazy!

Yeah, the weather has been so unpredictable lately! But I have to admit, I kind of like switching up my wardrobe like this!

That maxi looks amazing on you! I love all the colors. It really is the perfect piece to transition into fall. I’m so ready for the cooler weather to come and stay for a bit, but I don’t want it to get too cold. I definitely won’t be excited for winter. I love that necklace too! It’s so unique.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I’m happiest when it’s in the high 60s. That is plenty cool for me!

Loving your bag! …I live in Texas. It’s so hard to find cute Fall style that can be worn in 80+ weather.

Thank you! I used to live in Texas too, so I totally get that!

Great midi – love the boho pattern. It’s still hovering around 100 degrees here in Phoenix.

Thank you! Wow, 100 degrees!!! I don’t think it ever gets that hot here!

That dress is beautiful! It’s been very chilly and rainy and grey where I’m at – perfect fall weather, although I have to admit, there are times I miss the sunny summer days.

Oh, I know the feeling. But don’t worry, summer will be here again before we know it!
