As I sit here freezing my buns off in Atlanta, all I can think about is crystal blue water and feeling the warm sun on my skin. January is the first month I’m not traveling in as long as I can remember, so of course that has me dreaming even more. So I decided to share my top travel destinations for 2018 – not only where I want to go, but my top recommendations of the places I’ve been.

Favorite Places I’ve Been:

Thailand Travel Guide, what to do in thailand, where to go in thailand, what to eat in thailand, what to wear in thailand, where to go in chiang mai, what to do in chiang mai, what to eat in chiang mai, khao soi soup, red curry, green curry, maya bay, koh phi phi, koh lanta, bangkok

Thailand

I love Thailand because it is the most unlike the culture I grew up in. The buildings are beautiful and the people are so incredibly nice. And best of all, the food is AMAZING!! Chiang Mai was my favorite. I’d love to go back! See all my Thailand posts here.

the most beautiful beach in the world, turks and caicos, grace bay, providenciales, boat rental in turks and caicos, doug camozzi, boat tours in providenciales

Turks & Caicos

This was my most recent trip, and almost every time I go somewhere new, it’s my new favorite place. But Turks & Caicos is definitely special. They have the bluest water I have ever seen and the island culture is in full force. It’s my favorite tropical island for sure. Read my Turks & Caicos posts here.

wifh atlanta, laser hair removal, beauty tips, laser tattoo removal

Costa Rica

Costa Rica was one of the first big trips I did. I absolutely fell in love with the country. I already love latin culture and latin food, so I knew I’d love it. I very strongly preferred the southern part of the country, but I plan to visit the eastern coast next time. Rumor has it that’s where all the surfing is! Check out my Costa Rica posts here.

Santorini

Greece was everything I thought it’d be and more. I was actually there after the season, so I was worried everything would be closed, but everything was open in Santorini and the weather was beautiful. And once again, the food was amazing. Most people said to skip Athens, but I really enjoyed it and would go back. Santorini was definitely the highlight though. Read more about my time in Greece here.

western ireland roadtrip, western ireland countryside, irish cottage, abandoned castle, fir trees, Galway, irish castles

Ireland

Ireland is definitely my favorite country I’ve ever been to. There’s so much to love about it, it’s hard to know where to start. I saved it for last on my list since it’s so cold. But it is a gorgeous country, nonetheless. There are so many beautiful castles, lively pubs, and friendly faces, that it’s hard for me not to go back every year! All my Ireland posts are here.

Where I Want to Go:

Iceland
Mexico
Buenos Aires
Malta
Canada
Scotland
Austria
Switzerland
Ok, I want to go everywhere. If you’ve been to any of these places, I would love any info you can share!
