The prettiest beach I went to in The Bahamas was the Tropic of Cancer. The Tropic of Cancer is the most northerly circle of latitude on Earth at which the sun can be directly overhead. I feel like this probably means you can get a killer, perfectly even tan here, right? Maybe, but regardless, this beach is absolutely stunning.

It’s so gorgeous, in fact, that Pirates of the Caribbean filmed here. Remember how pretty everything was in that movie? Well, it’s even prettier in person. What’s crazy is that there was absolutely no one there when we were there. How is this gorgeous beach absolutely empty? I still have no idea, but I’m not complaining. Off into the distance, you can see Turtle Island, which gets its name because of its turtle-like shape. How cute is that?! And along the grassy area closer to the road than the beach, there are plants with pretty pink flowers. Talk about paradise!

For my Tropic of Cancer visit, I wore my new favorite swimsuit, this tight little black number, and my fun fringe sarong. Sadly, the sarong is sold out (yall went crazy for it on Instagram stories!), but I found almost an identical one in white. And it’s half the price too at just $17. Score! To keep the fierce all black vibes going, I wore these bold cateye sunglasses with gold accents. To add just the tiniest touch of color, I wore these fab tropical earrings. I’m obsessed! How perfect are they for summer? But warning: do not wear them when it’s windy! I lost a lot of hair after it got stuck in the pink flower part of these!

I absolutely recommend spending a day here when you’re in The Exumas. When you get hungry (or thirsty, ya feel me?), head over to Santanna’s. We didn’t get a chance to stop there because it was closed the day we went, but tons of people recommended it.
