I’ve always loved the oversized/boyfriend look, but it can be so tough to pull off. I love it on other people (i.e. celebrities). When I try it though, half the time I feel like I just look like I got clothes that are too big for me. But I think I did a good job with these pieces. The key I found to help was belting the shorts and then tucking in the front of the shirt, which is something I’ve been doing almost every day lately. Pairing the oversized pieces with heels definitely helped keep the overall look more intentional and feminine as well.

I wore this look to a blogger brunch put on by Lululemon where we ate delicious food and discussed our goals for the future. It was great to really put my aspirations and dreams on paper. I have some great goals set and I feel like I’m on the path to really achieve the things I want to!

Everyone loved my shorts at the brunch, so they were definitely a hit. The tropical print is so fun. I added in the other print with my bag to bring a little bit of print mixing into play. Overall, I had a great time in this comfy oversized look!

Do you like the oversized boyfriend trend?
