We all know I’m a tropical weather kind of girl, but I have to be real: this Atlanta heat is killing me! Trust me, I’d much rather be hot than cold, but damn, we have no relief when there’s no water in sight! Anyway, all that is to say that I have come to two solutions. One, crop tops are my new best friend; and two, I’m just going to dress like I’m on vacation all summer.

Which brings me to this fun, colorful summer ensemble. To tell you the truth, I did kind of feel like an executive in the pencil skirt, but ain’t nobody wearing a crop top in a corporate setting, so at least I dressed it down a bit. I actually got this skirt last year in Sydney for like $7 (hands up emoji for Zara), so it’s not available anymore sadly. I love the lightweight material and fun, modern cut.

I paired it with this adorable to add a little bit of color. I thought it was the perfect balance and really complemented the pinks and reds well. Speaking of red, how adorable are ?! And get this: they’re only $13. Talk about a steal! It was a toss up between these earrings and some pink tassel earrings as I was styling this look, but I’m so glad I went with these red ones for some tropical vibes. I did wear heels, but flats would have easily been fine as well!

I finished the look off with my new go-to . I’ve actually been keeping my wallet and all my essentials in it which is unheard of for me. I switch bags so often that I take everything out as soon as I get home so I can have it ready for my next bag. This one has gone with everything this summer! And I just randomly got it off Amazon one day when I needed a $35 minimum for free same day delivery! That’s what’s up.
