Last week, my mom was passing through town, so I made sure to plan the perfect Mother-Daughter day for us. I wasn’t able to spend Mother’s Day with her this year, so she cashed in on her gift while she was in town. We got botox! I knew she would be scared, so I took one for the team and got it with her. Sacrifices, right? It was so quick and easy, and pretty much painless.
After botox, we got some coffee at Dancing Goats. Coffee has always been our thing, so it was really nice. Our next stop was shopping in Buckhead. Then, we went to Seven Lamps for lunch and rosé. OMG, it was amazing! Totally a new favorite if I ever decide to make the trek to Buckhead again, ha! After lunch, we did some more shopping, this time at Ponce. You know my first stop was . That store is just too good! And the fact that it’s less than a mile away from my loft makes it even better. If you want to see what I tried on, be sure to check out my Instagram Story Highlights!
For our little day out on the town, I wore my new . I knew I was going to be shopping, so I wanted to wear an outfit that was easy to get out of. I always like wearing two pieces (as opposed to a dress or romper) when trying clothes on so I can easily try on both tops and bottoms without having to grab something random in the store to put it on with. The kimono totally made the look, and the brought the hippie vibes. I totally felt like Kyle Richards in all her mumus and big metal frame sunglasses, hah! Any other Real Housewives fans out there?
I decided to go with yellow accents because I wanted to wear these comfy shoes, which worked out great because how amazing are these yellow earrings?! I don’t usually match my accessories, but I think it works here. The bag was perfect for the tropical theme – I actually got it at an outdoor marketplace in Mexico City. Can you tell I’m ready to go back on vacation?
What would be your perfect Mother-Daughter Day?
