Twirling in Abbey Glass

Like I mentioned last week, I recently got the chance to play in local designer Abbey Glass’s showroom. I tried on tons of amazing dresses, skirts and tops, but one of my favorites, along with the ombre striped pink skirt, was this gorgeous blue and purple hand dyed skirt. I actually paired it with a dress for this look and topped it off with one of my favorite necklaces. And of course, any chance I get to wear my Valentino platform pumps, I take.

Just like I did at the showroom, I couldn’t stop twirling in this skirt. Twirling skirts the best kind of skirts, don’t you think? I had so much fun with this outfit and can’t wait for my next opportunity to wear this skirt. Isn’t the detailing just incredible? I love unique pieces like this one because they make a bold statement, yet are tasteful, clean and classic. Abbey does such a great job of that with all of her designs.
What is your favorite kind of skirt?

This skirt is absolutely gorgeous! I’m actually not really a skirt wearer. i don’t own any but I do own lots of dresses. That way i just put it on and go and don’t have to try to match it with a top.

I’m an intern for Factory Girls that works with Abbey Glass and I have been wanting to get my hands on that skirt since I laid eyes on it.
