My Urban Philosophy: I Believe in Pink

The first signs on spring have begun to bloom in Atlanta. As soon as I saw these pretty pink trees, I knew I had to snap my next outfit photos near them. The weather has been super unpredictable, which I guess is totally the norm here during this time of year. Sometimes it’s freezing (literally) and then the next day it will be in the low 70s. I guess that’s better than it being cold all the time though, right?
For this look, I decided to take advantage of this sunny day and wear a skirt and short sleeves. I didn’t even need a jacket; it was so nice! Since I wasn’t wearing any color, I decided to add a pop of pink with my brand new Dolce & Gabbana lipstick, which I’ll be sharing more info about tomorrow. Pink really does add something special, don’t you think? In the meantime, here are my outfit photos and deets.

Pink is one of my favourite colours, especially the shade on the cherry blossom trees. It’s still really cold here in the UK, and raining, actually. I’m so jealous! I also really love that shade of lipstick, I have one similar but a little lighter by Barry M. I never used to wear lipstick but it’s become my new best friend recently!

Ugh, I wish the first signs of spring were showing here in Minneapolis. We still have tons of snow on the ground, BUT the temps are slowly getting warmer. It’s supposed to be 40 here on Sunday, wahoo! I can’t wait to start wearing my flats and sandals again, those are my go-to spring accessories.
Always,
Mostly Lisa
