I can’t believe I was in Italy just a few days ago. I’m so excited to finally share some of my experience in my new favorite country. If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, you saw a glimpse of the beauty that I encountered while overseas. I flew into Naples, then headed to Capri for 3 days, Salerno, Positano and finally Naples again. I had the time of my life and I think it’s safe to say I am officially addicted to traveling.
The eight hour flight felt like an eternity, but when we finally landed and I woke up in Italy, it was all worth it. We took a cab to our Airbnb, washed up and had some Italian espresso. I of course had to turn mine into an Americano by adding some cold water. This huge window was such a beautiful, warm welcome to Italy.
Since we were in Naples, we obviously had to go on a mission for true Neapolitan pizza. Before we left, there were a few places we wanted to try for sure so we based the location of our Airbnb pick around that. Totally normal, right?
Sadly, Italians close everything in the afternoon, so our options were limited. We ended up eating at this place where Bill Clinton once dined. We know this because the cab driver told us, plus there were photos hanging outside. It’s their claim to fame I guess. Though the pizza could easily be their claim to fame instead; it was so good!
We stopped and grabbed a bottle of wine on the way back (duh) and ate pizza and drank the wine on the garden terrace for our first night in Italy. It was perfect!
Have you ever been to Naples?

Jealous! Italy doesn’t top my list of places in Europe I want to see, but several cities are absolutely in there – Venice, Florence, Rome, Milan. I’ve never been, which is so silly considering it’s a tiny bit of ocean away! But then I’ve never been to France either, so. I’m trying to correct these awful gaps as my business grows and hopefully allows it. I love the photos of you in the street.
