If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, or follow me on social media, you might have noticed by now that I love my wine. It’s a great way to relax after a long hard day (in moderation, of course! Seriously, I can only handle one glass these days) and it’s a lot of fun to explore different brands to try new flavors.

I’m not usually a big fan of boxed wines–the only ones I had every tried in the past were super sweet, resulting in a pretty brutal hangover–but any chance to try something new, I’ll take. So for my taste testing session, I invited my good friend Danasia (of The Urban Realist) over for some Black Box wine, cheese and fruits.

I was so surprised to learn that one box of Black Box wine contains the same amount as four bottles of wine, so if you think about it, it makes so much sense that they’re able to save on the cost of the bottles, resulting in lower prices for us. (Yay!) The one Danasia and I tried was the pinot noir, a type of wine I don’t usually opt for. But I have to say it was amazing! And at just $25 per box, I think I found my new go-to.

Danasia and I had so much fun together. It’s just natural for us to have a drink when we hang out. Expect more collaborations from us soon!
